General Summary of Position: The Sr. Assistant Director of Admissions Communications leads the strategic development and execution of data-driven, multi-channel communications that support the University’s undergraduate enrollment goals. This managerial position oversees communication planning and implementation within Slate CRM, ensuring a coordinated, results-oriented approach to prospective student engagement. This role also serves as a key advisor and collaborator across Enrollment Management on communication strategy, systems optimization, and user experience improvements. They work collaboratively with the marketing office to support their communications and content delivered in the communications plan. The role is the last line for communication approval and responsible for scheduling and sending communications, forms and portals using a development cycle process. Minimum Qualifications (Required): Bachelor’s degree required Minimum 5-7 years professional experience working with CRM systems in a higher education or marketing operations setting Slate (Technolutions) experience strongly preferred, including experience with Deliver, forms, dynamic populations, and workflows Working knowledge of HTML and CSS specifically for email development Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team Availability for occasional evening or weekend work during peak admissions periods Special Instructions to Applicants: Only Internal Professional (SEIU 888 Professional Union) Bargaining candidates will be considered during the first 10 business days of the posting.
