Responsibilities Negotiates and reviews managed care payer contracts for the organization, focused specifically on ancillary services across Ascension including but not limited to ASCs, imaging sites, etc.

Core Responsibilities: Work directly with and beside analysts in financial modeling specific to contracting efforts, ensuring negotiated outcomes meet desired objectives.

Leads the contracting efforts for fees for service contract negotiations in the ancillary space.

Responsible for educating ministries on impact of changes in reimbursement methodology imposed by commercial payers and governmental agencies.

Serves as a liaison between payers and ministry departments, hosting routine meetings with payers to resolve outstanding issues.

Develops reports and reporting solutions specific to payer relations, managed care and contracting needs.

Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. Additional Preferences Additional Preferences: 5 years of experience in directing and analyzing payer specific financial analysis, preferred. 5 years of experience in developing Managed Care Payer contracting strategy for health systems, preferred. 5 years of experience in health system managed care/payer contracting, preferred. #LI-Remote
