The Opportunity:

In this role, you'll lead the social and owned digital editorial strategy for Adobe socials brand handles. You will report directly to the Global Head of Social and will be responsible for elevating our internal storytelling capabilities to shape our social brand narrative. What You’ll do: Coordinate and contribute to the creation and dissemination of social and blog communications.
Partner with collaborators across our global marketing organization.
Collaborate on developing the social brand narrative to achieve qualitative and quantitative goals.
Manage social brand reputation in collaboration without community management team.
Build out and lead our approach to brand journalism.
Create and lead an integrated approach to storytelling across brand stakeholders in our marketing org.
Partner with the brand social and influencer team.
Help oversee our approach to social brand evangelism and employee advocacy.
Help build our approach to multi-channel multi-format media.
Not only will you lead the team to create compelling stories, campaigns and content, you'll enrich the audience experience ensuring multi-media, multi-channel engagement.
What You’ll Need
10+ experience working in a modern newsroom both within a corporate/brand environment and a news environment as a journalist and or editorial director.
You have a passion for creative, the arts and technology.
You are experienced in developing and implementing an editorial strategy and have a sophisticated understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences.
The ability to collaborate cross-functionally across organizations especially in the content space.
The ability to work across time zones, and communication platforms is crucial.
Strong background in journalism and social media strategy.
Experience in managing multi-format content across social, blogs, podcasts forums, newsletters and modern media channels.
Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
Critical thinking and ability to craft detailed social communication plans.
Leadership experience in developing teams and fostering collaboration.
Understanding of digital media landscape and social media platforms.
Knowledge of corporate governance and legal compliance issues related to communications.
Agency Experience a plus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $146,300 -- $267,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
