: Our client is looking for a highly motivated Emergency Medical Director Veterinarian to take on a leadership role. This is a busy, fully equipped 24-hour emergency facility with an 8,500 sq. ft. hospital offering Snyder O2 unit, digital and portable radiography, rigid endoscopy, multiple ORs, ultrasound, Idexx laboratory, and a dedicated skills lab and classroom. Supported by a strong 24-hour nursing team, you will oversee high-quality emergency medicine and surgery while mentoring veterinarians and ensuring medical standards are upheld.

Qualifications needed :

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent Minimum of 3 years clinical veterinary experience, ideally with emergency focus Eligibility for California veterinary license Previous leadership or management experience preferred Strong communication, mentoring, and decision-making skills Package: Salary range of $185,000 - $220,000 DOE Up to $100,000 sign-on bonus for 3-year commitment Additional Medical Director stipend provided Relocation assistance available if required Paid vacation and recognized holidays No negative accrual and no non-compete agreement Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan with company contributions Continuing education allowance with time off included Employee discounts on veterinary services
