Franklin Templeton is hiring a Boston based Regional Director to join our Retirement DCIO channel to cover the New England region. The role is responsible for developing and deepening relationships with retirement and defined contribution (DCIO) partners, as well as internal partners across the New England territory.
Responsibilities Manage and cultivate key intermediary/provider relationships and developing fund sales through those contacts
Partner with wholesalers of national recordkeeping platforms to further enhance awareness of Franklin Templeton investment capabilities
Market Franklin Templeton's value-added programs to help Retirement Intermediaries design better plan solutions and grow their book of business
Maintain knowledge of industry related trends/topics and maintain proficiencies in delivering value-added presentations to advisor and plan sponsor audiences
Qualifications 10+ years of field consulting / sales experience within the DC and investment industry
FINRA Series 7 & 63 Licenses required
Advanced investment/product knowledge including Target Date Solutions and Stable Value
Strong relationship management skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a large territory with many moving parts
Strong sales skills focused on closing
Public speaking and seminar experience
Experience working within the territory, New England preferred
Compensation and Benefits Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the base salary for this position to be $150,000 per year.
