Description: Position Summary
The Executive Director will work closely with ownership and the corporate team of the community's third-party management company to fulfill the Community's organizational mission, develop an effective strategic plan, and ensure the financial viability of the Community. In addition, the Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Community in consultation with Department Directors and Team Members. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure that Team Members consistently provide quality, customer-oriented residency experience. Assist in selection of Department Directors and other supervisory Team Members. Supervise and provide performance feedback to Department Directors. Responsible for the Community's compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with ownership and the corporate team of the community's third-party management company to develop and maintain written policies, procedures, and protocols. Oversee the Resident and Team Member grievance resolution processes, and the process for investigating allegations of Resident abuse and neglect. Strive to constantly improve Community operations and customer service and is a member of and active participant in the Community's QAPI Committee. Make timely, informed decisions and be available to Team Members and Residents during emergencies in accordance with the Community's EOP. Represent their Community and Melody Living in a positive, professional manner at industry association events, elder care events, and other activities outside of the Community. Ability to understand and present budgets and forecasts to Management.
Requirements: Requirements Meet the minimum educational requirements of, and if required, be licensed as an administrator in the state of Illinois. Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams applications in the Microsoft Office suite. Able to read, write, and speak English with sufficient fluency to communicate with Residents and Team Members clearly and accurately. Preferred Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution or significant coursework in healthcare or business administration. Significant, relevant experience operating a senior housing, assisted living, long care, or health care facility. Significant, relevant experience in a supervisory role. Relevant experience in a sales and marketing role.
