About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive Medical Director for Clinical Development in Obesity. In this pivotal role, you will lead large-scale clinical studies and programs while offering expert guidance to navigate and resolve clinical challenges. You will head the Global Clinical Subteam and play a key role in formulating clinical development strategies for various indications.
Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, and executing clinical programs aimed at achieving critical decision milestones and regulatory approval. We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in clinical research, especially in Phases I through IV, along with medical expertise in endocrinology, cardiovascular/metabolism, or obesity.
Requirements include: an MD or MD/PhD with over 8 years of clinical research experience and at least 6 years in a leadership capacity. Success in this role demands exceptional management, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record in cross-functional collaboration.
You will ensure the safety and quality of all clinical documents, possessing comprehensive knowledge of the global regulatory landscape and operational facets of clinical trials. We're looking for a leader who can cultivate and manage high-performing teams while effectively engaging internal and external stakeholders as a medical authority.
