As TCIS matures and with the HFHI network looking to begin embracing housing systems transformation, TCIS now more than ever must step up to the challenge of turning program results into lasting systems transformation . TCIS will draw on its experience as an innovation catalyst to becoming a systems transformation engine, reshaping global housing markets to serve the 1 in 3 people around the world with no or inadequate housing.
As an advisor and partner to the Vice President and Executive Director of TCIS, the Senior Director-Transformation and Business Execution will be responsible for facilitating alignment and execution of strategic and operational plans and activities within TCIS, and with HFHI overall, as well as effective decision-making at the management and leadership team levels in TCIS.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Facilitate alignment and integration of TCIS operational strategies and goals within TCIS and with overall HFHI strategy and priorities. (80%)
Facilitate effective and dynamic decision-making in matters within the VP/ED’s purview; seek valid and reliable information in support of the VP/ED’s decision-making, guidance and planning purposes.
Provide continuity and follow-through by attending meetings of relevance to the VP/ED, noting action items, and acting on VP/ED’s behalf for communications and follow-through with other executives and staff.
Partner with Integrated Programs Leadership Team and the SVP for Integrated Programs regarding strategy, operational planning and change management within IP, and with other organizational areas of Habitat. Involves diagnosing complex organizational issues and challenges, managing related processes as needed, and leveraging resources.
Partner with Area Vice President Team to facilitate effective information sharing and decision-making across geographies to drive outcomes.
Manage and direct projects that cross organizational boundaries
Business & Resource Development and External Engagement (20%)
Coordinate with the TCIS Global Director for Organizational Performance on business and resource development activities, including pipeline development and management, go-no go decisions, and coordination and oversight of proposal teams
Build and leverage internal and external relationships in support of the VP/ED and related functions.
Education
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s Degree in business administration, management, finance, or related fields
Years of Related Experience: 15+ years of senior management, change management, organizational development, coaching, project management, facilitation, conflict management or related experience.
Qualifications
Experience working in a global, matrixed environment.
Other Experience:
Demonstrated effectiveness in chief of staff or related role with senior level executives.
Ability to interface with, influence and provide excellent service to all levels of the organization (Board, senior leaders, middle management of HFHI, international Area Offices and country programs).
Demonstrated ability to challenge ideas of C-level senior leaders and offer alternative solutions.
Capacity to work cross-culturally and uphold HFHI’s commitment to Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
Preferred – In Addition To Minimum
Understanding of the international development and non-profit sectors.
Familiarity with market systems development and human centered design approaches
Experience working in a federated model

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $182,750 to $215,000.
