Senior Director, Subrogation Operations

The SRD / VP of Subrogation Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing subrogation lifecycle operations—from intake and investigation to recovery and resolution. This executive will oversee multiple operational teams, implement process improvements, enhance productivity, and ensure outstanding client outcomes. Reporting directly to the COO, this role plays a key part in scaling operational capacity, developing leadership talent, and aligning execution with strategic growth goals.

Responsibilities Operational Leadership Provide strategic oversight and direction of all subrogation operational teams. Develop and monitor performance KPIs across the subrogation lifecycle to ensure quality, efficiency, and revenue targets are achieved. Drive transformation and continuous process improvement through data analysis, workflow redesign, automation opportunities, and change management. Lead and mentor a high-performing management team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and ownership. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT, and Client Services to ensure seamless integration and compliance across operations.Partner with Product and Technology to enhance internal tools and workflows supporting case management and data analytics.Support the Sales and Client Success teams in client onboarding, custom reporting, and performance reviews. Strategic Execution Translate company goals into operational strategies and executable plans.Drive scalability by identifying bottlenecks, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting new service offerings.Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure operational readiness and innovation. Qualifications B.S / B.A required; Master's degree or equivalent business / healthcare experience preferred10+ years of progressive leadership experience in subrogation, healthcare claims, or insurance operationsDeep knowledge of the subrogation process, including identification, legal considerations, and recovery strategiesProven track record of operational excellence, performance management, and change leadershipExperience scaling teams and operations in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.Strong analytical skills and comfort with operational dashboards, metrics, and workflow optimization.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with case management systems and subrogation automation tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
