Pay Transparency: The budgeted starting salary for this position ranges from $120,144.35 to $144,172.19 annually. This is a salary-exempt position.

Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Strategic Communications & Marketing is responsible for shaping and executing strategic communications and marketing strategies that elevate the organizational mission and goals, amplify our impact, and inspire public and philanthropic support. This role blends strategic vision and creative execution across communications, marketing, content development, digital engagement, storytelling, and media relations to build visibility, influence public will and investment, and position Treehouse as a thought leader at the intersection of foster care and education. This leadership role oversees strategy for Treehouse's organizational identity, media relations, digital engagement, content development, and storytelling. Partner with the Development and Policy teams to drive engagement and fundraising through integrated marketing strategies that reach diverse audiences, including individual donors, corporate partners, and policymakers. Strengthen internal communications to enhance collaboration, transparency, and alignment across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, values-driven communicator with deep expertise in communications strategy, public affairs, compelling storytelling, and media relations with a passion for equity and systems change.
