At PetSmart, you’ll be part of an engaging and supportive environment designed to help you and our teams thrive.About the JobThe Senior Director of SAP Strategy & Operations will lead the transformation of PetSmart’s SAP ECC Migration to S4/HANA. This role should have an understanding of Retail operations and the SAP ecosystem.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is onsite at our Phoenix Home Office.This role will also have responsibility to ensure the current ECC environment is operating to our expected SLA while migration is taking place. Therefore, this role will need to ensure no disruption to the business while also ensuring current and future business requirements are incorporated into the overall SAP solution. Reporting to this role will be SAP Development, SAP Basis Team, and all SAP functional support; HR, Finance, FP&A, and Supply Chain.This role also has overall responsibility for EDI traffic for PetSmart.Project Management: Create and execute the SAP S4/HANA Roadmap Development and Business Case. Develop and gain approval for the multi-year migration of PetSmart’s ECC Environment to S4/HANA. Ensure migration activities are identified and planned as part of PetSmart’s ERP Modernization program while maintaining compliance through SOX and GNFR where required. Build and maintain the SAP Migration Leadership Program, including an Executive Steering team with all necessary vendors. Identify risks and workstreams including change management. Ensure process optimization and fit into S4/HANA processes, maintaining standard SAP functionality and a “clean core”. Support and lead system integrators to ensure successful migration. Maintain SOX compliance and licensing integrity.Budgeting: Oversee IT planning and cost inputs for business case development. Collaborate with leadership to identify necessary technology changes, resources, timelines, and costs. Manage OGA expenditures to adhere to financial forecasts.Prioritization: Lead communication with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. Challenge and shape demands, priorities, and expectations. Assess emerging SAP technologies against strategic needs and communicate value to leadership. Promote awareness of new product enhancements and SAP roadmap.Talent Management: Oversee SAP and EDI teams, ensuring performance and career growth.Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team to ensure long-term success of SAP and PetSmart’s culture.Support & Enhancement: Ensure stability and quality in system implementation, maintenance, and enhancements.
