As the the Senior Director, Next‑Generation Partner Experience, you’ll lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for and end-to-end transformation of our partner experience. With 91 % of Salesforce customers using at least one AppExchange app and 70 % of implementations led by consulting partners, this role will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of Salesforce’s partner‑driven growth. About the role: This senior leader will own Salesforce’s Next‑Generation Partner Experience. The role will define the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a unified, AI‑driven partner experience that spans onboarding, enablement, community, co‑selling and support. It will be highly visible internally and externally, accelerating partner‑driven growth by reimagining how partners collaborate with Salesforce to deliver value. What you’ll do: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for a next-gen partner experience, ensuring alignment with Salesforce's platform and AI initiatives and a focus on “customer 0” adoption of Salesforce technology.
Build and execute a roadmap for agentic onboarding and support, a Slack‑first partner community, next‑generation tools for co-selling (e.g., lead registration, market development fund (MDF) management), partner enablement, and support.
Lead cross‑functional teams (engineering, design, research, marketing and analytics) to deliver delightful, scalable features from concept through launch and iteration; ensure accessibility, security and compliance.
Deeply understand the needs of consulting partners, SIs, global SIs, ISVs and resellers; champion their voices through user research and data‑driven decision‑making.
Manage and develop a diverse team of product managers and cross‑functional leads, fostering an inclusive culture, setting clear goals and aligning stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
Evangelize the vision internally and externally; collaborate with Partner Program and alliances teams to drive adoption and measure business impact.
Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of product management experience, with experience in leadership roles (e.g., Director, Sr. Director, or equivalent) with a proven track record of defining product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex market dynamics and technical concepts into actionable product plans and measurable business results.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including proven experience presenting to executive leadership and representing the company as a domain expert.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales, marketing) in a highly matrixed organization.
Experience hiring, managing, and developing high-performing product teams, including both individual contributors and senior leaders.
Experience managing global teams at scale across multiple hubs and time zones.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or complex two-sided marketplaces.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools for rapid prototyping, accelerating roadmap development, and delivering innovative products to market at speed.
Experience building agentic software systems, slack applications, partner relationship management tools.
Familiarity with Salesforce technology, including the Salesforce Platform, Agentforce, and Data Cloud.
Deep understanding of partner & developer ecosystems and the tools/platforms they use to build and deploy solutions.
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
