In this leadership role, you will spearhead the technical direction of critical components within our core brokerage platform. You will oversee a large team, make architectural decisions, and drive engineering best practices. This position is based in Boston, MA, Jersey City, NJ, or Westlake, TX. The Expertise We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven hands-on technical leader with experience in defining architecture and delivering effective solutions.
Extensive experience in leading and managing teams successfully.
Experience in the brokerage or cryptocurrency space is a significant advantage.
Proficiency with various programming languages, frameworks, operating systems, and platforms.
Experience in Full-Stack development: front-end, middle-tier, and databases.
Familiarity with Spring Boot and event-driven architecture is highly desirable.
Experience developing native cloud applications using microservices architecture is essential.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes and databases.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases is advantageous.

The Purpose of Your Role The Senior Director of Software Engineering works closely with the VP of Software Engineering to architect and design new products. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on delivering impactful business outcomes. The Skills You Bring Exceptional leadership and strong technical expertise.
Demonstrated track record in designing and building complex end-to-end systems.
Java and Spring development experience.
Solid Object-Oriented programming skills and familiarity with UML.
Experience in native cloud and microservices development.
Knowledge of cloud computing environments, applications, and tools.
Experience with Agile/iterative software delivery practices.
Strong Full Stack development skills.
Able to collaborate with peers to resolve technical and design challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; strong interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Self-motivated, results-oriented attitude.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$185,000 per year. This range may vary based on your responsibilities, geographic location, relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is just one aspect of the total compensation package, which may also include bonuses and additional variable compensation based on eligibility requirements.
