This leadership role requires excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team management skills. Responsibilities: Lead teams in establishing project goals, funding, planning, design, and construction of sanitation facilities, ensuring compliance with standards. Align funding strategies with organizational goals and manage project budgets and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. Manage risks and foster a collaborative team environment. Develop detailed project plans, conduct team meetings, and ensure clear roles and responsibilities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and improve project management processes. Prepare reports for executive leadership, the Board, and community stakeholders. Lead personnel management, including goal setting, coaching, and performance evaluations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or project management-related degree. Equivalent work experience may be considered. 15+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alaska or another state, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of Alaska or cold-region engineering experience, and management experience leading diverse teams. PMP and PE licenses are preferred.
