We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead our Semiconductor Custom Storage division. Situated in the vibrant tech hub of Austin, TX, with a hybrid work model, this leadership role offers the opportunity to spearhead market-defining strategies and custom silicon solutions within a dynamic industry leader. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in semiconductor product marketing combined with extensive technical expertise and strong customer interaction skills. You will play a pivotal role in defining our technology roadmaps, crafting customer-specific solutions, and driving robust business growth in a rapidly evolving market landscape.
Salary: $225,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead product business planning activities including market/technology trends analysis, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), competitive analysis, and revenue projections. Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer applications and competitor solutions to effectuate an innovative product roadmap. Direct and expand the opportunity funnel and secure design wins that align with both short-term targets and long-term corporate goals. Establish and maintain influential senior management relationships at key accounts and strategic partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sophisticated business proposals and technical solutions, and present these to senior leadership. Own the development of customer-facing materials such as presentations, white papers, and solutions briefs to articulate the unique value proposition of our products. Minimum Position Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering required; advanced degrees such as MSEE or MBA preferred. At least 15 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, focused on compute technologies like CPU, GPU, and FPGA. Robust experience in a customer-facing role, with strong communication skills necessary for effective interaction and product expectation management with customers. Demonstrated product management prowess including defining products, developing Market Requirement Documents (MRDs), and overseeing design and package engineering analysis. Deeply familiar with key system components in AI, CPU, GPU, FPGA, and compute products, with the ability to analyze product tradeoffs considering performance, cost, power, and development expenses. Unwavering commitment to achieving market leadership through exceptional teamwork, innovation, and strategic acumen. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI device and AI system designs as well as familiarity with dynamic connectivity solutions like CXL and VCU. Strategic relationships and project history with one or more hyperscaler entities in the tech industry. Proven ability in leading cross-functional teams to exceed revenue goals and deliver market-leading products. Skills: Expertise in strategic business planning and market analysis.
