Base pay range $92,500.00/yr - $97,000.00/yr Summary: The Senior Director, Operations reports directly to the President & CEO and oversees all operations. The primary responsibility of the Sr. Director of Operations is to oversee the general operations, business and finance, support service, and programs of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida. The Sr. Director of Operations is directly involved in delivering our mission and program goal of offering comfort and care to every person who walks through the doors of our House(s), including guest families, volunteers, and donors. The Sr. Director of Operations supports the mission, goals, and objectives of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, Inc., as set forth by the Board of Directors. Management Provide leadership to all facets of operations through performance management, evaluation, and developing processes and procedures to encourage team contribution. Conduct individual and team meetings, provide professional development and educational opportunities. Lead and organize project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to meet the strategic goals of the organization. Ensure successful onboarding, training, leadership, and cultivation of operations team members. Responsible for annual review and training of all staff on safety policies and procedures. In collaboration with the CEO, lead and organize quarterly and yearly refresher trainings for current team members. Assess current policies & procedures for relevancy and effectiveness in alignment with the organization's mission. Ensure continuous coverage 24/7/365 at all Ronald McDonald House(s). Ensure accurate data input and reported as needed and as requested. Operations Provide and ensure exceptional customer service and hospitality to all guests. Ensure proper maintenance of facilities, to include scheduling inspections. Maintain a comfortable, stable, and clean environment in the House. Maintain detailed records and procure regular reports regarding guest family needs, volunteer management, facility maintenance, policies, and safety/emergency incidents. Manage vendor relationships to retain high-quality service providers. Manage operations to ensure referring partners are up to date with procedures, have sufficient materials, and are encouraged to refer qualified families. Accountable for implementing the organization's risk policies to best support the program and mitigate risk to the organization. Family Services Ensure every family is treated with kindness, compassion, and equality. Ensure each guest family is encouraged to complete the Family Guest Experience Survey. Identify, recruit, and engage families to participate in sharing their RMHC SWFL story. Responsible for all escalations of family issues including communication with social workers after guests are in the House. Volunteer and Program Management Support the organization’s Volunteer program to assist with recruitment, training, scheduling, and retention of volunteers. Ensure compliance of all program parameters with quarterly reporting and annual updates. Lead collaborations to drive program outcomes, operational efficiencies, to align with furthering the mission and achieving strategic goals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of at least three years of non-profit management, hospitality management, or other customer service-related experience. Experience with database programs, e.g. Family Registry, VolunteerHub, Proficient in Microsoft 365 products, virtual technology, file storage and management. Experience with creating a world-class hospitality-based atmosphere for families, volunteers, and the community. Performance Requirements: Exemplary professionalism and diplomacy in all scenarios. A flexible, adaptable leader with a proven history in managing staff and volunteer teams. Ability to work independently and serve as a collaborator who can engage with others of varying backgrounds, ages, and experiences within and outside RMHC SWFL. Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time-management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced environment, with people who are enthusiastic about their work and mission. Represent the Charity in a professional and authentic manner. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Valid Florida driver’s license and operable vehicle. Physical Demands: Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to move about, drive a vehicle and may require lifting of up to 15 pounds. Exposed to moderate to loud noise levels. Frequent interruptions, ability to multitask. While performing the duties of this job, you must be available to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, and holidays. Ability to travel throughout Florida is required.
