Position Overview: The Senior Director of Dental is responsible in assisting with the supervision and monitoring of the Regional Directors (RD) in the dental operations department, and to assist the Chief Operating Officer in the dental operational activities of the network to maximize growth and stability. Essential Duties: · Assist with the supervision and monitoring of performance of Dental RD’s.· Ensures that Dental RD’s assigned duties are completed in a timely fashion consistent with organizational standards of accuracy and patient care.· Assist with monitoring revenues and expenses of sites and programs within the department.· Assist with providing education to Dental RD’s.· Assists with provider schedules and reviews FTE for site for staffing ratios.· Responsible to ensure Dental RD’s are assisting in training appropriately.· Review programs and processes of sites and department for efficiency and value.· Policy/Procedure development and review.· Direct supervision of Float Staff for the department.· Direct oversight of identified practices.· Works very closely with the COO on oversight of the department and assures effective communication and coordination with all other departments.· Responsible for Dental RD’s TOR, timecard approvals etc.· Assist the COO in the opening of a new dental practice site.· Responsible for requesting support staff and/or additional provider analysis.· Provide leadership and training to the Dental RD’s.· Identify benchmarks for both sites and managers within Operations.· Assists and assures TJC, HRSA, and any other regulatory bodies.· Assists and assures PCMH principles. · Other duties as assigned. Location and hours of the position63 Pitt Street Sharon, PA 16146Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 4.30pmThis opportunity is designed for in-person collaboration and is based at our Operations department in Sharon, PA. Job Requirements:· Master’s degree in public health, health care related field, human resource, or management. Bachelor’s degree eligible if enrolled in a master’s level program.· Previous experience in a community health center preferred.· Previous experience in management of 2 years.· Previous experience in practice management preferred.· Must possess excellent communication skills.· Thorough knowledge of the networks policy and procedures. · Proficient computer skills required.
