Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Banish Product oversees the vision, strategy, and execution for our flagship suppressor line: BANISH. This individual will play a critical role in advancing product innovation, improving performance, driving customer satisfaction, and growing market share within the suppressor and broader firearms accessories market.

You will collaborate across product development, engineering, marketing, compliance, and sales teams to ensure the BANISH brand continues to set the standard for quality, performance, and innovation.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Define and own the product strategy, roadmap, and vision aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management and engineering team.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver high-quality, innovative products on time and within budget.
  • Utilize market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to prioritize product features and enhancements.
  • Drive product lifecycle management from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Set and track key product performance metrics to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Oversee and coordinate comprehensive product testing and validation processes to ensure suppressors meet performance, durability, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and alignment with product specifications and company standards.
  • Lead product demand forecasting and market analysis to optimize inventory planning, production schedules, and align product development with market trends.
  • Engage with key customers and partners to understand market needs and validate product direction.
  • Oversee manufacturing processes and collaborate with production teams to ensure consistent product quality, adherence to specifications, and continuous improvement in suppressor manufacturing.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and customer engagement.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation for the product and engineering team.
  • Represent the product vision and strategy to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and with regulatory agencies.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive revenue and customer engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experience working in firearms, outdoor, or adjacent industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $160k-$180k DOE. Banish offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
