In support of our existing team, we are currently looking for:***Senior Director Medical Affairs (m/f/d)*****Responsibilities*** Oversight of the development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy for the country based on deep understanding of global, regional and local opportunities and requirements* Creating and maintaining a high performing, highly compliant Medical Affairs organization* Representing local opportunities, requirements and needs at the regional and/or global levels* Representing our company in external activities requiring the presence of the country’s Senior Medical Leader* Coordinating with the country’s cross-functional teams to ensure well-functioning interactions between our company and external* in-country stakeholders* Managing the entire portfolio for our company, allocating resources balancing global and local priorities* Building on existing capabilities through internal development and external hiring in addition to creating an empowering, compliant,* collaborative, and innovation-focused work environment* Managing the medical aspects of submissions for reimbursement or tenders for our company’s entire portfolio of medicines and* Vaccines**Qualifications*** **M.D. degree required*** MPH, Ph.D., MBA, degree in Health Administration or Economics is seen as a plus* Proven experience in global biopharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development* Solid people management experience running a large matrix organization of healthcare professionals* Experience in one of the following fields: Oncology (strong plus), Infectious Diseases Treatment, Vaccines, or Specialty care* Strong leadership skills, demonstrated effective organizational skills, including ability to set goals and align priorities* Business acumen, ethics and credible reputation with the external scientific community* Ability to simplify and convey complex concepts and strategies, orally and in writing* Strong presentation skills* Demonstrated creativity and effectiveness in addressing strategic challenges* Possessing an entrepreneurial mindset; capability of thinking out of the box and taking measured risks* Experience working in global and regional medical affairs functions**What we offer*** **Paid parental leave from the company for mothers and fathers amounting to 12 weeks*** **Attractive company pension*** **Free HPV vaccination*** **Annual pass of the Wiener Linien or company parking (with deductible)*** **Generous home office arrangement and the possibility of hybrid working if required*** **Restaurant Card*** **Company doctor*** **Employee referral program*** **Annual bonus as well as employee recognition bonuses during the year*** **Discounted fitness offer*** **Pharmacy discounts, wholesale discounts, etc.**We offer an attractive salary, outstanding social benefits and an exciting work environment with varied tasks in an international environment.
