Overview An innovative, mid-sized biotech is hiring a Senior Director to lead Global Scientific Communications for a high-priority therapeutic area. This role will oversee strategy, execution, and team leadership across publications, scientific platforms, and key external engagement from early development through post-launch.

Responsibilities Own global scientific communications and publication strategy
Lead and develop a team of scientific communication professionals
Drive cross-functional alignment with Clinical, Medical, and Commercial teams
Oversee the development of abstracts, manuscripts, slide decks, and other core materials
Manage agencies, budgets, and timelines while ensuring compliance with industry standards
Build strong relationships with investigators, KOLs, and external stakeholders
Qualifications Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) or equivalent experience
10+ years in medical/scientific communications within biotech/pharma or agency
Proven team leadership and experience in rare or complex disease areas
Deep knowledge of publication practices (GPP, ICMJE)
Strategic thinker with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred CMPP certification
Experience supporting global product launches
