Senior Director, Digital Sales & E-Commerce Growth

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Digital Sales & E-Commerce Growth to lead and scale Jeppesen ForeFlight’s digital commerce strategy. This executive will own the vision, strategy, and execution for driving revenue growth through our self-serve and e-commerce channels, ensuring our digital customer experience sets the industry standard.
This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, commercial rigor, and technical fluency. You will work cross-functionally with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to shape how customers discover, purchase, and use our digital products—accelerating Jeppesen ForeFlight’s transformation into a best-in-class digital commerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth
Drive revenue growth for digital self-serve and e-commerce channels, achieving sustained YoY revenue growth through digital customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
Develop and execute a multi-year digital commerce growth strategy aligned with Jeppesen Forelight’s broader business objectives
Identify strategic opportunities for business model innovation, pricing evolution, and new digital revenue streams
E-Commerce & Customer Experience Excellence Partner with Product, Design and Engineering leadership to transform digital purchasing and fulfillment experiences, ensuring frictionless customer journeys across ForeFlight and Jeppesen platforms
Champion data-driven experimentation, continuously optimizing the digital funnel to improve conversion, reduce churn, and accelerate time-to-value
Establish and scale best-in-class e-commerce operations, tools, and processes to support rapid growth globally
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to design integrated campaigns and digital journeys that drive upsell, cross-sell, and retention across customer segments
Influence senior product and engineering roadmaps to align with commerce strategy, ensuring digital revenue is embedded as a first-class growth driver
Represent the digital sales business in executive forums, shaping strategy and reporting progress to C-suite stakeholders
Insights & Market Leadership Build a robust analytics and performance measurement framework to turn data into strategic insights and actionable growth initiatives
Stay ahead of industry trends and benchmark against leading technology companies to ensure ForeFlight’s digital commerce remains differentiated and competitive
Success Metrics Significant year-over-year growth in digital self-serve bookings and revenue
Improved customer satisfaction and NPS across purchasing and fulfillment experiences
Increased digital channel conversion and reduced churn
Demonstrated leadership impact on organizational alignment and digital transformation
Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in digital sales, e-commerce, SaaS growth, or digital GTM leadership, with at least 3–5 years in a Director-level or equivalent role
Proven track record of scaling digital revenue channels in high-growth or enterprise SaaS environments
Strong technical fluency with digital platforms, APIs, commerce/fulfillment systems, and customer data stacks
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence product and engineering teams to deliver transformative experiences
Data-driven operator with strategic thinking, analytical skills, and executive communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with aviation, B2C SaaS, B2B SaaS, or other complex digital ecosystems
Strong record of organizational influence and change management within digital transformation initiatives
Executive presence and ability to communicate with C-suite and senior leadership
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
Pilot or aviation enthusiast

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $180,000-$240,000
This position is currently part of Boeing but is planned to transition to an independent company owned by Thoma Bravo, as part of a pending divestiture of the Digital Aviation Solutions organization. If you are selected for this role, your employment may initially be with Boeing (dependent on start date). Subject to final regulatory approvals and closing conditions, your employment may transfer to the divested business owned by Thoma Bravo at close. Additional details about this transition will be shared as they become available.
