The Jobat aGlance The Sr Director of Digital Core, Apps & Platforms will lead the roadmap, modernization, optimization and governance of Parts Town’s digital core platforms across North America (PTA, USG, and PTH), while providing consultative support to PTE (Europe) as it begins its transformation journey. You will own strategy and execution for SAP S/4 RISE ERP, CRMs, Warehouse Management Solutions (WMS/TMS), Financial and other enterprise applications, ensuring integration across systems, divisions, and customer channels (EDI, eCommerce, Service, B2B/B2C). The role emphasizes platform simplification, product mindset adoption, and embedding AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve business outcomes, enable differentiated customer experiences, and scale for growth. A Typical Day Enterprise Applications & Digital Core (ERP) Own the roadmap, governance, and lifecycle for SAP S/4 RISE ERP (PTA), ensuring deep alignment with Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial needs. Lead the modernization /execution program for legacy ERP environments (PTH, USG), setting strategies for convergence, integration, or future transitions. Provide consultative guidance to PTE (Europe) alongside the Group CIO on ERP strategy, integration approaches, and opportunities for global synergies and simplification. Integration & Data Flow Co-Lead the enterprise integration strategy across ERP, CRMs, Salesforce (Service), WMS, and external platforms, ensuring API-first, real-time interoperability with our Data Platform team. Oversee EDI and B2B integration frameworks to guarantee reliability for trading partners. Support M&A integration efforts, ensuring newly acquired businesses connect seamlessly into the digital ecosystem. Partner with the Data & Analytics team to ensure applications syndicate clean, governed data into the enterprise data platform. Business Partnership & Product Mindset Act as a strategic partner to PTA, PTH, and USG leadership teams, aligning technology priorities to business goals. Establish a product-oriented IT operating model, embedding product ownership and agile practices into application delivery. Partner with future roles such as the Head of Commercial/GTM Platforms and Head of Supply Chain Platforms to build connected, domain-driven strategies. Build governance forums with business stakeholders to ensure prioritization, investment alignment, and accountability for outcomes. Innovation, AI & Automation Champion embedded AI, workflow automation, and advanced analytics across ERP, CRM, and WMS platforms. Drive application rationalization to reduce complexity and technical debt. Lead structured change management efforts to support adoption, enable business value, and accelerate digital ways of working. Global Standards & Advisory Role Collaborate with the Global CIO and European IT leadership to define shared standards, best practices, and global frameworks. Provide advisory and consultative support to PTE (Europe) to align transformation roadmaps with enterprise strategy. Balance “One Platform, Many Journeys” by unifying where scale matters while enabling regional flexibility. Team Leadership & Vendor Management Build and lead a high-performing applications and platforms team across North America. Mentor and develop talent, embedding platform, product, and integration expertise. Manage strategic vendors and MSPs, ensuring performance, value creation, and alignment to Parts Town’s growth ambitions. To Land This Opportunity You have 15+ years of IT leadership with deep expertise in ERP (SAP required; S/4 RISE/GROW preferred), enterprise applications, and digital transformations. You have strong knowledge of Salesforce (Service, Sales), WMS/TMS, Demand & Inventory Planning, and legacy ERP integration. You demonstrated success leading multi-division portfolios (ideally in distribution, manufacturing, or eCommerce). You obtain experience with multi-ERP environments and guiding transition strategies across regions/divisions. You have proven expertise in API/middleware integration strategies and data-driven business enablement. You’re able to lead cross-functional teams, drive cultural change, and build a high-performance organization. You have significant commercial wisdom in vendor management/MSPs, governance, and large-scale program delivery. You obtain knowledge of AI, automation, advanced analytics, and modern composable architectures (MACH principles). Thesalaryrange for this role is $167,523.01 – 248,129.76 which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is apayfor performance-company. In addition to basepay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
