Compound Operational Lead

The Compound Operational Lead (COL) is a global position within Global Development Operations that provides oversight and operational leadership for the planning and execution of clinical programs. This role is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of clinical trials and ensuring alignment with program objectives. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, the COL manages the clinical program from First-in-human studies through to the launch of the asset. The COL will drive faster, cost efficient, patient-centric trials that follow benchmarked industry standards that utilize "state-of-the-art" clinical project management methodologies aligned to global drug development processes. This role is accountable for the successful preparation and presentation of operational content at key governance discussions, ensuring critical operational input is provided to drive comprehensive, strategic, and thoughtful discussions for assigned program(s).

Who You Are:

  • Minimum BA or BS degree; advanced degree in Life Sciences preferred.
  • 12-15 years of experience leading complex global clinical trial programs; 5-7 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Extensive project management experience in diverse settings.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with senior leaders.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills for a global operational team.
  • Broad clinical operations experience and project management skills.
  • Proven teambuilding abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Comprehensive expertise in drug development and its interdependencies.

Location: US (Billerica area) on-site at least 3 days per week

Travel: 25-30% domestic and international for meetings and conferences and HQ

Pay range for this position: $180,000 - $280,000. Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
