Our client is a seeking to add a VP of Corporate Services, Ideal individual will collaborate closely with business unit heads/strategy and growth leaders throughout the organization to ensure a cohesive approach to growth that maximizes the long-term value of the business.
About the Role
Select individual will play a critical role in overseeing the management and implementation of the corporate services, office administration, procurement, IT/Technology and business operations.
Responsibilities
Lead the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies. Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements. Collaborate with Technology Group to address technical issues and enhance user experience while providing leadership and setting high standards for work deliverables. Work closely with the Senior Stakeholders to manage projects across multiple departments to help meet expectations and goals. Coordinates cross-departmentally to maintain internal controls, streamline processes, and enhance the overall operational workflow. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external technology vendors, research institutions, startups, and other valuable external partners. Assess current Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows and implement best practices and automation to drive better outcomes and efficiency. Monitoring and acting on renewals, managing vendor relationships, identifying redundant vendors. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of innovation goals and progress. Lead, own and facilitate the project prioritization process across corporate function for firm. Collaborate with business leaders to develop and track business and corporate objectives. Ensure that the organization stays ahead of technological disruptions and can rapidly adapt to new developments. Demonstrate effective problem-solving and action planning skills to improve internal and external operations.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) strongly preferred. 10+ years of experience in Corporate Services/ Strategic Operations or a related field. Strong and well-developed analytic, problem-solving and quantitative skill, with exceptional attention to detail. Demonstrated people leadership / management. Develop and implement operational strategies to support the business's growth and profitability objectives. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Experience in performing complex problem solving and business trade off decision analysis. Results-orientation with an ability to take initiative, execute and complete deliverables in a timely manner.
