The Senior Creative Director is responsible for overseeing omnichannel brand visual creative across marketing programs and channels, elevating and maintaining a standard of excellence in brand visuals. This leader will develop omnichannel brand visual strategies for seasonal campaigns and new initiatives, oversee art direction, design, and styling of all visual creative, mentor designers, art directors, and stylists, conceptualize seasonal campaigns and marketing programs, collaborate with creative teams to craft holistic brand experiences, and work with strategic agency partners. The Senior Creative Director will lead a team of art directors, graphic designers, and stylists across various mediums. They will work closely with Marketing and Creative leadership to create omnichannel visuals for seasonal marketing campaigns, activations, and events. What You'll Do Lead strategic omnichannel brand marketing campaign concepts that meet business objectives Develop positioning and visual strategies for campaigns, programs, retail, activations, and events Collaborate with the brand creative and marketing teams to deliver a comprehensive 360 customer brand experience emphasizing innovation and brand love Manage multiple projects across digital, retail, and print, motivating teams of visual creatives and collaborating with cross-functional partners Delegate work effectively, monitor team capacity, and foster collaboration and teamwork Facilitate the creative process by building concept boards, photo briefs, and design assets; oversee photoshoots and high-level art direction Ensure design and styling solutions align with the Athleta Brand World Present creative concepts to senior leaders, gather feedback, and secure resources Manage strategic agency partnerships to uphold the Athleta Brand World Who You Are 15+ years of art or creative direction experience, including team management BA or BFA in Graphic Design or Communication Design preferred Proficient in Adobe CS, InVision, MS, MIRO Experience in concepting, designing, and art directing campaigns across channels; strong knowledge of photography and videography Passionate about wellbeing, fashion, and lifestyle retail; knowledgeable about current industry trends Goal-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic skills for developing and presenting recommendations Experienced in project planning, budgeting, and resource management Proven ability to recruit, develop, and motivate diverse teams Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
