Requirements / Qualifications
Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three current letters of recommendation from direct supervisors, must be within the last year. (PSUSD Regular employees are only required (2) letters of recommendation) Proof of HS Graduation (Proof of High School graduation or equivalent (HS diploma, HS transcripts, or GED) Resume Typing Certificate (A five minute Typing Certificate validating ability to type a minimum of 50wpm Net Speed. Typing certificates from other credible organizations may be accepted. (Must include letterhead and authorized signature). NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES WILL BE ACCEPTED)
Comments and Other Information
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Superintendent, perform complex and confidential secretarial and administrative support duties to relieve the Superintendent of a variety of administrative and clerical details; plan, coordinate and organize office activities and coordinate flow of communications for the Superintendent; provide administrative support for other District personnel and/or Board of Education members; maintain calendars, coordinate and schedule various appointments and meetings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The ability to type 50wpm Net Speed. Graduation from high school supplemented by college-level course work in secretarial science or related field and four years increasingly responsible clerical or secretarial experience involving frequent public contact.
