Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Fortuna, CA, working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position offers the chance to provide specialized speech and language therapy services in a supportive school environment dedicated to fostering student growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and prepare reports as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
