Sales Director

Location: North America / Remote (MT/CT/ET time zone preferred)

First Due’s cutting-edge Fire and EMS software solution provides an end-to-end platform for hundreds of Fire and EMS agencies across North America. We’re searching for a strategic Sales leader with significant public safety SaaS experience who thrives on driving growth, building high-performing teams, and shaping the future vision of a quickly growing market-leading software solution.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive market leadership and growth by managing and coaching an assigned team of Account Executives and Account Associates to sell First Due software solutions to customers of various sizes and complexities. Provide performance feedback and identify/develop talent to ensure high performance across the Sales team.

· Develop business plans with Sales team to maintain a robust sales pipeline. Create and execute innovative sales approaches to drive revenue and profitability growth.

· Maintain and grow the existing customer base while increasing focus on pursuing and investing in new high-value accounts; develop and build senior-level relationships with major accounts and targets.

· Continuously enhance the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, discovery, presentations, and negotiation.

· Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to position the company as a leader in the market.

· Foster relationships with key executives and collaborate with leaders in Customer Success, Professional Services, and Product to maximize growth opportunities.

· Represent First Due at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and business development.


Qualifications and Experience

· 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role within the public safety industry or government sector; proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.

· Experience using data to track performance, make decisions, and develop Sales strategies, using systems and controls to manage performance and identify obstacles to success

· Strong coaching and people management skills to support team growth; comfortable delivering employee feedback and management team performance

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; comfortable engaging C-Suite clients.

· Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead a high-performing team.
