Description: Position Summary:
We’re looking for a driven, strategic and people-focused Sales Director to lead, grow and empower our Comfort Advisor and Inside Sales teams. This role isn’t just about closing deals it’s about building a high performance sales culture, creating scalable systems and delivering consistent results. You’ll be responsible for owning the full sales funnel, mentoring your team and working cross functionally to make sure our customers always feel like VIPs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Own and drive the sales strategy across HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Indoor Air Quality
Lead and develop the Comfort Advisor and Inside Sales teams, with a focus on coaching, accountability and results
Build and refine sales processes that support consistency, scalability and client experience
Partner with Marketing to align lead generation with conversion goals
Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (closing rates, average tickets, financing, etc.)
Implement training programs and ride-along systems to continually develop team skills
Collaborate with Operations and Install departments to ensure smooth handoffs and top-tier execution
Lead daily huddles, weekly 1-on-1s and monthly performance reviews
Recruit, onboard and retain top-tier sales talent
Manage CRM (ServiceTitan) workflows and ensure lead follow up is airtight
Represent the company with professionalism, positivity and a strong commitment to customer service
What You Need to Bring:
Proven experience in residential in home sales leadership HVAC, Plumbing or related trades is a huge plus
Track record of leading teams to exceed sales goals and KPIs
Strong understanding of sales metrics, pipelines and team management
Ability to coach with both empathy and accountability
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Obsessed with customer service and doing things the right way
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high energy environment
Experience working in or with ServiceTitan is a plus
Willing to be hands on, roll up your sleeves and jump in when needed
Bonus Points If You:
Have experience training new Comfort Advisors or building a sales department from the ground up
Can run a sales meeting that actually motivates your team
Understand the ins and outs of financing, rebates and pricing structures
