Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Sales Director to lead business development efforts within the personal care and over-the-counter (OTC) contract manufacturing industry . This leadership role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across skincare, sun care, hair care, and other personal care product lines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of product development cycles, manufacturing processes, and regulatory environments in the health and beauty sector.
Salary: $120K$140K + uncapped commission

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company growth objectives, focusing on large-scale personal care and OTC contract manufacturing partnerships.
Business Development: Identify, target, and close new business opportunities with leading brands and emerging companies in the health and beauty market.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their evolving needs and delivering tailored solutions that ensure long-term satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, operations, regulatory, and marketing teams to deliver seamless onboarding and execution of client programs.
Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, manage pipelines, and provide accurate forecasting to leadership.
Market Insight: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract and pricing negotiations with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
7+ years of progressive sales experience in personal care, cosmetics, or contract manufacturing industries .
Proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar sales growth and building strategic partnerships.
Deep understanding of product development timelines, regulatory processes (e.g., FDA, cGMP), and quality standards in the personal care sector.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to travel as needed (approximately 3050%).
