Management Software : Guardian, Nuclias Connect, and network-management applications
Accessories : Transceivers, switch & power accessories
They distribute through an extensive partner ecosystem—Distributors, VARs, MSPs, and Resellers—to serve Enterprise, SME, and SMB end users across the U.S. and Canada.
Position Summary
As the Sales Director, Commercial Products, you will own the North American (U.S. & Canada) go-to-market strategy and execution for our client's Commercial Data Network portfolio. You'll lead a team of 12 Account Managers (90% onsite, 10% remote), develop revenue-driving programs with channel partners, and collaborate closely with both the North American President and Brand Headquarters in Taiwan to align on strategy, tactics, and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute annual and quarterly sales plans, budgets, and territory/account coverage models
Develop pipeline forecasts and stretch targets in partnership with finance and operations
Recruit, mentor, and coach a team of 12 Account Managers to hit individual and team quotas
Establish performance metrics, conduct regular 1:1s, and drive a high-performance culture
Build and nurture relationships with key Distributors, VARs, MSPs, and Resellers
Design incentive programs and training to accelerate partner-led opportunities
Collaborate on large-enterprise pursuits alongside AMs; directly engage C-level stakeholders as needed
Drive renewal and expansion strategies for strategic accounts
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with Marketing to generate demand, craft campaigns, and support lead-gen efforts
Work with Product Management to relay market feedback and influence roadmaps
Reporting & Communication:
Present monthly/quarterly results, forecasts, and strategic updates to the North American President and Taiwan HQ
Ensure CRM accuracy and lead a weekly sales-ops review
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience managing a sales team selling networking or telecom hardware/software
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets in Distribution/VAR/MSP models
Deep understanding of Commercial Data Network technologies (switches, routers, wireless, management software)
Excellent leadership, coaching, and people-management skills
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Multilingual abilities in French or Mandarin Chinese are an advantage
Prior experience collaborating with Asia-based headquarters or global matrix organizations
MBA or advanced sales/leadership certifications
Variable Compensation : Aligned with North American sales targets; direct reports' pay structures are account-based (~80% revenue split for AMs)
