THE JOB This newly created role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional with a solid understanding of how modern software is scoped, built, and delivered. You will serve as the companys outward-facing voice, building trusted relationships, opening new accounts, and ensuring current ones stay engaged. This is not a volume-based or transactional sales position; its a high-touch, consultative role meant to drive long-term partnerships. Responsibilities include: Build and manage relationships with both existing and new clients Engage with mid-market and enterprise buyers at conferences, association events, and networking sessions Lead full-cycle sales engagements from initial conversation to signed contract Work closely with internal engineers and delivery teams to ensure alignment and delivery readiness Contribute to shaping the companys future sales strategy as legacy sales leadership transitions into senior advisory roles THE QUALIFICATIONS Experience selling professional services, software development, or technical consulting Strong familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC), ideally from previous roles as a sales engineer, recruiter in tech, or BD representative at a development agency Comfortable operating without call scripts or dashboardsknows how to build pipeline through presence, insight, and relationships Active involvement or interest in industry networks like TAO, SIM, or technical user groups Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; ability to connect easily with CTOs, Product Leaders, and CEOs A track record of job tenure and a desire to grow into a leadership or partner-level role over time THE BENEFITS Compensation: Target earnings of $225K OTE, with a base salary likely in the $150K$155K range and performance-based commissions Health Coverage: 100% employer-paid for employee (medical, dental, vision) 35% employer-paid for dependents Choice of FSA and HSA plans Retirement Plan: 401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor employer contribution (fully vested, whether you contribute or not) Wellness Stipend: Up to $35/month reimbursement Time Off: 25 total days (vacation, sick, and holidays combined) Other Perks: Employer-paid Life, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability insurance High-caliber team culture, no micromanagement, high trust Long-term partnership path for top performers
