Overview ActiveProspect is seeking a Sales Director for our Home Services vertical. The role focuses on expanding our footprint in the Home Services category by driving all aspects of growth, including sales, partnerships, marketing, and events. This is a high-energy, strategic leadership position intended to build strong relationships, articulate a compelling value proposition, manage a pipeline, and secure commitments within the vertical. Responsibilities Revenue: Own new customer development activities and quota achievement for the Home Services vertical, including expanding relationships with existing customers Strategy: Define and execute the vertical strategy; monitor competition and position our offering accordingly Industry Research: Maintain expertise in Home Services; engage with lead buyers, lead sellers, and service providers; monitor industry publications Education and Training: Serve as the company expert on the vertical and provide training to others as needed Forecasting: Manage sales forecasting and detailed pipeline for the vertical Marketing: Define vertical marketing needs and collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted content Events & Trade Shows: Track industry events and select the ones to attend Partnerships: Identify and execute partnerships within the vertical Long-Term Focus: Pursue strategic deals to drive long-term adoption Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain key industry contacts and provide partner recommendations to customers Product Development: Advocate for vertical-specific features and relay needs to the team Client Success: Partner with the client success team to grow the vertical Spokesperson: Represent the company and our technology, contributing to thought leadership in the industry Qualifications and Skills Experience in the Home Services lead generation space preferred 3-5 years of complex enterprise SaaS selling experience Proven ability to achieve enterprise sales quotas Experience managing enterprise sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting Strong ability to communicate value propositions for complex enterprise SaaS technology Positive attitude, flexibility, initiative for learning Ability to work well in a small, rapidly growing team; willing to go beyond the job description Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, can-do attitude Travel required Benefits and Perks Collaborative startup-style environment with growth opportunities Global, remote-first company with occasional team get-togethers Life and work balance; flexible vacation time Retirement plan matching up to 3% of salary Comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance options ActiveProspect is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
