Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSkorpios Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Foundry Services Business Unit Sales Director. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for generating new business and creating new opportunities with existing customers. Your responsibilities will include developing, identifying, qualifying and closing new business as well as identifying and engaging in new opportunities to expand our customer relationships and markets worldwide. You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, Sales team and Senior Leaders to execute our global fab services sales strategy.ResponsibilitiesArticulate and advocate Skorpios' value proposition aligned with customer requirementsDevelop expeditiously new customer relationships and revenue-generating business to augment the global fab services BU customer base Meet with potential clients in person or over video and address their fab services needsDevelop and execute complex sales strategiesCoordinate corporate resources for the sales processLead contract negotiations and close high-value deals with a strong focus on client relationship managementEnsure meeting and exceeding individual monthly quotas and objectives, and close opportunities on schedule Track opportunities and provide weekly sales forecasts via Oracle NetSuiteOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the job. RequirementsBachelor's in electrical engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related, MBA a plusDeep knowledge of foundry services, semiconductor device fabrication and/or semiconductor-based engineering experience Technical understanding and working knowledge of optical components and networking; device integration or semiconductor or similar device fabricationUnderstanding of semiconductor industry process technologies and product development required7+ years of direct sales and new business development experience and/or customer interfacing sales engineering experience requiredExperience selling custom semiconductor products, foundry or design services Experience using Oracle NetSuite CRM is highly desirable but not mandatoryExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience with ITAR sales and compliance is a plusAbility to travel up to 40% to meet with clients in personSkills and QualificationsIndividual trailblazer and team player that can thrive in a high pace "startup culture" environmentProven track record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closingRolodex of customer relationships in disruptive industries: AI, Genomics, Defense/ Military, Semiconductor, Quantum Compute, MEMS/ sensors, Automotive, and others.
