About the Team

Our Sales team manages the full sales cycle, helping prospects and existing customers leverage Mixpanel to analyze, measure, and improve their customer experience. About the Role

Mixpanel is looking to hire a commercially minded and impactful, yet humble and people-driven, Sales Director, to lead our North America Mid-Market and Enterprise teams. This leader will be tasked with more than just managing; they will inspire, scale, and elevate a team of highly talented Account Executives to reach their full potential.

The Sales Director will help us establish and drive success across North America, as we continue to scale. The ideal candidate will be a successful sales leader, with a passion for getting things done and who will thrive in a very fast-paced environment - and will relish scaling our business and embrace, embody and lead with our core values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire Account Executives to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Establish and institutionalize scalable sales playbooks, best practices, and methodologies that drive repeatable success in enterprise sales.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in field marketing, product marketing, demand generation, customer success, and sales engineering to create integrated go-to-market motions.
  • Drive operational excellence through rigorous pipeline management, forecasting, and data-driven business reviews.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous development, while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop the next generation of sellers and sales leaders.
  • Communicate a clear path for growth and create visibility into progress and outcomes.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

  • You have a track record of leading outbound sales motions
  • You’re a process-oriented leader that manages your business with a proven methodology such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, Force Management etc.
  • You have 6+ years of managing and leading SaaS sales teams - ideally in the Big Data, Analytics, Mobile, Product Analytics or MarTech space.
  • You’re data-driven and use metrics to understand how to coach and manage the qualitative elements of the business.
  • You love hiring and recruiting the best possible talent and you’re also passionate about building a strong, diverse world-class sales team.
  • You have a playbook for executing complex deals and you know when to leverage it.
  • You’re passionate about getting hands-on, to drive success - you believe in and create a “servant leadership” style culture.

Bonus Points For

  • Demonstrated skill owning and delivering on revenue targets
  • Experience working with partners including channel, solution and technology partners
  • SaaS sales experience and a passion for building and supporting diverse teams
  • Experience driving New Business, Upsell and Renewal

Compensation

The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage.

$307,000 - $470,000 USD
