A well-respected General Contractor, is looking to hire a Safety Director, to join its team near Worcester, MA. You will be responsible for leading the safety program and team across their portfolio of construction projects. The Role: Take ownership over the development and implementation of new strategies and initiatives to continually improve the safety program & culture Collect, analyze and report on safety metrics and KPIs at both a project and company level, identifying trends and utilizing results to manage, modify and deliver safety priorities across the business Act as the figurehead for the safety program, working with all levels of staff, from site-based personnel through executive leadership and senior client contacts in order to reinforce a "Safety First" attitude across the organization Identify and develop Safety Training initiatives throughout the organization Work alongside industry regulatory bodies (OSHA) to ensure compliance to any and all relevant local, state or federal legislation

The Candidate: Circa. 10-15 years hands-on experience leading a safety program within a commercial, utility or industrial construction environment Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or related discipline (preferred) Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, across all business levels Based near Worcester, MA with the ability to travel to all active job sites as required
