As a Director of Clinical Operations, you will:
- Oversee all patient care services provided by the hospice team.
- Support and advise nursing supervisors to help improve patient care.
- Assist with patient care planning and evaluation as needed.
- Help prepare and manage the hospice's budget.
- Monitor patient volume to adjust staffing and resources accordingly.
- Evaluate the performance of nursing supervisors and help them evaluate their teams.
- Hire, evaluate, and, when necessary, terminate staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for clinical staff.
- Ensure patient records are accurate and meet legal requirements.
- Manage supplies and equipment needed for patient care.
- Develop and oversee training programs for new staff.
- Plan ongoing education and training.
- Monitor and improve the quality and safety of hospice services.
- Help set goals and create policies for the organization.
- Ensure the hospice complies with all laws and certification standards.
- Keep up with changes in hospice care and share updates with the team.
- Promote hospice services within the healthcare community.
- Serve as acting Executive Director when the main director is unavailable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing. Master's degree in hospice preferred.
- Three years of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization
- Registered nurse in the State with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Has excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards.

USD $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 / Year
