Department: Respiratory Care Main FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. NRP obtained within 1 year if assigned to NICU; tracked on unit. tracked on unit. Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care environment utilizing respiratory therapy protocols and best practices to promote optimized care Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care Respiratory Therapist: Clinical ladders encourage internal growth and promotional opportunity through implantation of various clinical and process improvement projects at the unit, division, regional or system level.
