Job Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced candidate who meets the following requirements: Proven experience in engineering or a related field, preferably within the hospitality industry. Relevant certifications or licenses in trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc., are highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy. High level of reliability, trustworthiness, and decision-making. Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Job Responsibilities

As the Resort Director of Engineering , you will: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of resort facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive preventive maintenance program across all areas of the resort, including guest accommodations, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities. Coordinate and drive HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting projects as needed. Respond promptly to guest and team member requests, ensuring timely resolution of maintenance issues. Manage a team of engineers and maintenance staff, fostering a positive work culture and ensuring high-quality results. Maintain all safety protocols and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor and enhance energy conservation initiatives to ensure eco-friendly practices. Manage departmental budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively. Address emergencies and alarms promptly, reporting findings and corrective action to leadership as appropriate.
