TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Rehabilitation to lead and manage rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with all applicable standards.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring effective coordination of therapy services. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance standards for all rehabilitation disciplines. Manage and mentor therapy staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and ethical practices. Monitor department budgets, resource allocation, and productivity benchmarks. Collaborate with medical staff, nursing, and other departments to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in strategic planning, program development, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by organizational policies. Qualifications Active and unencumbered license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology in applicable state(s). Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline required; Master's or Doctorate preferred. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation services, with at least 1 year in a leadership or administrative role. Strong knowledge of rehabilitation best practices, regulatory compliance, and healthcare management principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
