Preferred Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) is looking for a Rehab Services Director to oversee the rehabilitation program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant care. This candidate may be a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, responsible for supervising rehabilitation staff, managing budgets, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care Oversight: The Rehab Director ensures that all patients receive appropriate and timely rehabilitation services, aligned with their individual needs and care plans. Supervision of Staff: They supervise and manage the rehabilitation team, including PTs, OTs, and other staff members, ensuring proper training and performance. Budget Management: They may be involved in the development and management of the rehabilitation program budget. Quality Improvement: The Rehab Director actively monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: They ensure that the rehabilitation program adheres to all applicable regulations and standards. Collaboration: They work closely with other CHHA staff, such as nurses, case managers, and social workers, to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
Position Qualifications: Licensure: Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) is required. Experience: Proven experience in home care, particularly in a CHHA setting, is required. Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills are essential to effectively supervise and motivate staff. Organizational Skills: Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational abilities. Knowledge of Regulations: A thorough understanding of regulations and standards related to CHHA and rehabilitation services is crucial.
