Job Posting: Regional Youth Director - Genesis Health Clubs


Location: Kansas City, KS: Olathe Ridgview, Olathe Blackfoot, East Olathe, Overland Park, North Overland Park, Merriam (Regional - Weekly Travel Required)
Position: Full-Time, Salaried ($41-$48k)
Reports to: National Director of Youth Operations

Were looking for an energetic and results-driven Regional Youth Director (A professional with a silly side!) to lead our Kids Clubs and Camp operations across several key locations in the Kansas City area. As the Regional Youth Director, you'll oversee the success of our Youth services at the above six locations. Youll manage a talented team, ensure programs run smoothly and on time, and support our mission to help families live healthier lives.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Experience (Safety and Fun):

    • Ensure a safe, engaging, and fun environment for kids, allowing parents to focus on their fitness goals.

    • Run daily Camp operations at the Olathe Ridgeview location, oversee Camp opeartions at the North Overland Park location, and manage the Kids Club experience across your region.

    • Prioritize safety and create an exceptional experience for both kids and parents.
    • Goal is to grow programming usage, manage expenses, increase revenue.

  2. Team Management (Hire, Train, and Develop Strong Teams):

    • Lead recruitment to hire qualified Kids Club Coordinators (Managers) and Camp staff.

    • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to ensure your teams deliver top-tier service.

    • Foster a supportive, high-energy team culture.

  3. Business (Managing Overhead and Generating Revenue Programming):

    • Ensure Youth services are operating on time and meeting member expectations.

    • Manage overhead costs and maintain efficient operations.

    • Launch and drive revenue-generating programs (specialty camps, classes, etc.) to achieve growth targets.

    • Continuously improve and meet bigger goals each year.

  4. Regional Presence:

    • Conduct weekly visits to Kids Club locations (within a 1-hour range) to ensure consistency and quality.

    • Lead teams to achieve optimal service delivery and business outcomes.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in youth program management or similar leadership roles.

  • Strong team management skillshiring, training, and development.

  • Proven ability to drive revenue and manage budgets.

  • Organizational and leadership skills to support multiple locations.

  • Passion for creating fun, safe, and impactful experiences for kids.

  • Must be willing to travel weekly to various Kids Club locations within your region.
