This individual leads a region of Market Sales Directors and Wealth Management Banking Specialists within the Banking Solutions Group (BSG) to grow Merrill’s success in delivering Bank of America deposit and card solutions to Wealth Management and Private Wealth clients. The individuals will develop deep partnerships with Merrill Division and Market leadership within a geographic region, collaborating to drive strategic success. Reporting to the National Banking Sales Executive key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with BSG National Executive to develop Wealth Management Banking strategy and tactics
Create culture of excellence and inclusion, maximizing utilization of talent and resources
Elevate leader and employee experience and satisfaction in a culture of ongoing evolution
Manage Regional team to deliver on finance plan and deposits growth goals within strong risk framework
Lead BSG partnership with Division Executives, Division OMT
Communicate BSG Strategy, Tactics to Division leaders and MSD direct reports and Bankers
Identify, mentor and develop BSG succession talent in an inclusive environment.
Ensure MSD and Banker feedback is leveraged to evolve tools and resources.
Develop, implement and monitor controls aligned to enterprise and BSG Policy/Procedure
Lead Performance Management standards and Scorecard development to evolve the organization to higher results.
Job expectations include overseeing overall team performance and implementing strategies/processes to accelerate delivery of value-added banking solutions to clients.

Manages a team of Market Sales Directors and enhances team performance through recruiting, coaching, and professional development focus
Increases profitability and market share by driving responsible growth and providing exceptional service to clients or prospects
Provides strategic guidance and develops tactics as part of a collaborative leadership team
Collaborates with product specialists to ensure capabilities of the firm are presented in a compelling and accurate manner during client/prospect interactions
Drives and monitors overall team performance around key strategic priorities/plans while ensuring strong employee engagement and inclusion.

Required Skills
Minimum 3 years of successful sales and/or bank operations experience
Proven track record of coaching and improving performance in others
Proactively builds trusted relationships with key partners/clients
Can quickly learn business, priorities, challenges, and goals
Can attract, recruit and retain an effective sales and operations team
Demonstrated experience coaching sales teams and interacting with executives.
Ability to communicate and influence verbally and in writing to multiple levels and audiences
Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize, and delegate tasks
Strong financial and business acumen including experience in leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and excellent time management skills
Proficiency in computer skills and professional programs (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Preferred Skills
One year of WMB sales management/WMB Performance Management
Undergraduate college degree
Prior sales management experience
Prior experience managing a team across a large geography
5+ years of successful sales experience
