REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR - FRESH & READY, TX (REMOTE) Join Compass Group USA as a Regional Sales Director for Fresh & Ready Foods, focusing on new business development for commissary sales across key channels. Job Summary: We are looking for a Regional Sales Director passionate about fresh-prepared, grab and go food and building high-impact partnerships. The ideal candidate will thrive on discovering new prospects, crafting solutions, and closing self-operated and/or multi-site deals. Responsibilities: Develop a territory plan to maximize net new revenue across priority and self-operated verticals. Run full-cycle selling: targeted prospecting, discovery & menu gap analysis, solution design, pricing, sampling/tastings, RFPs, contracting, launch, and post-launch optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally with Culinary, QA, Production, and Logistics to ensure specs and service levels align with Canteen Commissary food safety standards and operational capabilities. Build data-driven category stories and present compelling business cases to multi-stakeholder buying teams. Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasts, and next steps; provide weekly KPI updates and quarterly business reviews. Represent the brand at regional industry events and trade shows; consistently communicate our sustainability and food safety commitments. Qualifications: Self-motivated hunter with a track record of exceeding quota in foodservice/CPG or fresh prepared/grab and go sales. Experience with converting self-operated prospects in one or more of: healthcare, education, grocery & convenience chains, hospitality (resorts/casinos), airport/airline concessions verticals. Excellent communication, discovery, and presentation skills; consultative and solutions-oriented with high emotional intelligence for self-operated client base. Strong command of sales cycles required to close multi-site and/or multi-stakeholder deals; disciplined CRM usage. Operational fluency (pack sizes, shelf life, logistics windows) and appreciation for QA/food safety standards in regulated environments.
