When you join us as a Regional Mammography Training Director, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will:
Travel to RadNet sites to assess their overall training needs while creating programs and resources that enhance our effectiveness in mammography.
Collaborates with lead technologists to develop efficiency standards for technologist workflow that ensures each imaging center meets or exceeds productivity measures and daily volume expectations.
Assist in the creation of training programs to ensure that MQSA and ACR requirements including quality assurance, clinical image quality, and quality control are met throughout the region.
Train the lead technologists on how to approach the image review process documenting the steps taken to correct poor image quality.
Create a mammography training curriculum that includes proper patient positioning techniques, operating instructions for mammography systems, quality assurance (QA) protocols, and education on the use of risk assessments and patient compliance tools.
Represent and communicate the unique vision and value of the RadNet Mammography program with its high-quality standards and advanced technology to all relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with leadership and the human resources departments, providing insights and feedback that will help these departments attract and retain the most talented candidates to fill open mammography technologist positions.
Provide regular feedback to the RadNet leadership team with suggestions on how to enhance the mammography program.
Promote the organization’s culture, mission, vision, and values across the entire region to all stakeholders.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
Must have current ARRT(R) and (M) certification, and State License in diagnostic radiologic technology, and mammographic radiologic technology.
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Must be familiar with basic systems in a mammography practice, including PACS, RIS, and mammography- specific reporting platforms.
Familiarity with and the ability to use specialized mammography screening equipment, biopsy systems, and supporting network tools.
BLS certification required.
Maintain license and continuing education in accordance with state, federal, and regulatory agency rules and regulations.
Ability to relate to the public in a professional and courteous manner, understanding the objectives of the organization and value of the screening mammography program.
Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and appropriate fashion.
Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong written and verbal communications skills, course curriculum development, and training skills.
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, leadership and staff.
Management and leadership experience strongly preferred.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with difference audiences; Technologists, Radiologists, Managers, Senior Leaders, representatives from the American College of Radiology, and members of the FDA .
Must have clean driving history and a current and valid Driver’s License
