The Goodman Group is seeking a full-time Regional Health Services Director (RN) to join their collaborative & service-based team. The primary purpose of the Regional Health Services Director is to implement the health services operations plan in an assigned region by ensuring consistent implementation of practice & regulatory management strategies. Develops services direction, provides consultation, and education in both Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living facilities.
The ideal candidate will have progressive experience in clinical leadership as an RN, along with having at least 7 years of experience either as a Director of Nursing or Director of Clinical Services in an assisted living &/or long-term care setting. This role is based out of west FL with oversight of 10 senior living facilities (3 Skilled Nursing, 5 Assisted living, 2 Independent Living). With that, the role requires the flexibility to travel to each location as needed.
Salary: $130-$135k annual salary

Essential Job Functions Coordinates regional efforts with RDO and other corporate regional team members. Is accountable to National Health Services Director for implementation of established programs. Evaluates and monitors regionally assigned facility implementations of practice and regulatory, HIM/Clinical Reimbursement, nursing operations and quality systems as appropriate. Develops program, implements and monitors effectiveness along with the National Health Services Director. Assess the effectiveness and satisfaction of health services support. Participates in the standardization of clinical practice systems, guidelines and policies. Evaluates and identifies resident care and regulatory compliance issues in assigned region. Coordinates follow-up assistance to regionally assigned facilities as needed regarding identified issues and assists in the implementation of necessary policies, procedures and systems to correct areas in need of improvement. Schedules routine facility visits to review regulatory and quality of nursing and facility practices. Document and review visit data with National Health Services director. Provide feedback during regional facility visits with facility team and regional team members facility to established benchmarks. Engages facility clinical leadership in professional development to promote quality performance and effective leadership. Monitor and audit regionally assigned facility performance on benchmarking measures and intervenes as needed. Coordinate and provide collaborative oversight of the Survey process when survey is in one of regional facilities. Active participation in the Survey Readiness process: Identification of region-based facility non-compliance issues and/or areas of concern related to: regulatory compliance; resident care delivery; provision of services; and systems implementation. Facilitates the development and implementation of facility action plans to assure compliance. Assists with follow through on improvement plans and performance evaluation of facility teams. Maintains a high level of knowledge in specialty area by reviewing literature, attending meetings and discussing strategy. Use this knowledge to formulate a strategic direction for Health Services team in specialty area. Provides specialty training and materials to Health Services Team that can be used in all regions. Collaborates with RDOs to promote optimal performance in specialty area across all facilities. Participates in the development and implementation of the Health Services operations plan. Monitors performance metrics in specialty area across all facilities. Works collaboratively with Health Services Team to ensure regional success in specialty area.
Knowledge and Critical Skills Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions. Deal tactfully with personnel, prospects, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public. Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility. Communicate effectively in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, team members, prospects, residents, and families. Maintain current knowledge on assigned specialty (Nursing Operations) and elder health. Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in states where you provide oversight. Seven or more years of experience as a Director of Nursing or Clinical Services in an assisted living, or long-term care facility.
Supervisory Responsibility This position does have supervisory responsibilities, as needed and as assigned, but does not directly supervise other individuals as a routine part of the position.
