What You’ll Do
The Data Center Operations team is responsible for the performance, uptime, and continuous improvement of all CoreWeave data center facilities. This team ensures our infrastructure is robust, efficient, and capable of supporting our hyper-growth by managing everything from power and cooling to safety and compliance.
About The Role
As the Regional Director for the U.S. West, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple data center sites, shaping the vision for operational best practices. Your day-to-day will involve guiding site-level management, overseeing regional budgets and forecasts, and ensuring 24/7 operational availability and excellence.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in critical facility operations, with at least 5+ years in a senior management or multi-site leadership role within data centers or a similar mission-critical environment.
- Experience managing large-scale capital and operational budgets.
- Thorough knowledge of data center infrastructure, including cooling, power, fire suppression, security, and networking.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as Uptime Institute, ISO, OSHA, and local building/environmental codes.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Proficiency with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools and building management/facility monitoring systems.
- Change management expertise with demonstrated success implementing process, technology, and organizational improvements.
