*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Director of Outpatient Services to oversee our operations within the Kentucky and Indiana region. This leadership role requires a strong background in behavioral health and program management, with a focus on developing and implementing effective programs for individuals with developmental and mental health disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship management skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of care provided by our organization.
Our behavioral health hospitals in Kentucky and Indiana (all affiliated with Universal Health Services) provide a broad continuum of outpatient mental health & substance abuse services for children, adolescents and adults. The outpatient clinics are located in various parts of Kentucky and Indiana. Our entire staff is trained in treatment models of social learning and positive reinforcement that promotes positive behaviors. Outpatient programs teach life skills and coping mechanisms intended to enrich patients' lives.
Outpatient treatment is provided by licensed clinical therapists, nurses, psychiatric technicians and financial counselors. Initial assessments are completely confidential and provided at no charge. All outpatient programs offer free breakfast, lunch and snacks for patients. We also provide transportation to our patients.
This position will require travel on the road (up to 75%) and on-site meetings at clinic locations.

*Duties*
* Lead and manage regional operations, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement innovative programs that address the needs of individuals with developmental and mental disabilities.
* Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
* Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet program goals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to enhance service delivery.
* Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness, marketing strategies, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
* Provide administrative support by maintaining accurate records and reports related to program activities.
*Skills*
* Proven experience in behavioral health or social work, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities.
* Demonstrated ability in program development and management, strategic planning, including experience in supervising staff.
* Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience in budgeting and financial oversight within a healthcare or social services setting.
* Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in data management and reporting.
*Requirements*
* _*Education*_: Bachelor's Degree - Business, Healthcare Administration or related field. Master's Degree - Business, Healthcare Administration or related field highly preferred.
* _*Experience:*_ 8 - 10 years' experience in managing Outpatient Services (Centers). Experience in business healthcare management highly desirable. Experience working at free standing psychiatric hospitals highly desirable. Supervisory experience managing licensed clinicians highly preferred.
* _*Licensure*_: Licensed clinician is preferred but not required.
* _*Additional Skills:*_
* Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies' regulations
* Must possess demonstrated superior leadership abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Knowledge of patient rights standards.
* Licensed clinician is highly desirable but not required.
* Strong knowledge in marketing and strategic planning.
* Strategic planning skills; record of adherence to deadlines.
* Knowledge of all applicable regulatory and state laws regulating mental health care facilities
* Willingness to travel to Kentucky and Indiana area facilities, including overnight travel as required.
* Prefer knowledge of the Kentucky and Indiana area behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets, competitors and referral sources.
* Prefer knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles and age-specific programming and practices.
