RestorePro Reconstruction is seeking a Regional Director of Sales to join our Charlotte team.
This role is a sales leadership position responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Business Development Managers across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee . The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven professional with a strong background in sales and team leadership, preferably within the restoration or service-based industry. The position requires expertise in executing structured sales processes, coaching sales talent, leveraging data and CRM tools, and driving revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include overseeing regional sales strategies, managing territories and pipelines, and aligning sales efforts with company goals. The role involves up to 50% travel for in-person support, and collaboration with operations and executive leadership to ensure service excellence. Candidates must possess exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills, along with a track record of leading successful sales teams.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with at least five years of sales and leadership experience. The role demands integrity, a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset aligned with the company's core values and culture.
Position Overview
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading, developing, and managing a team of sales representatives (with less than 2 years of experience). This position will drive revenue growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and implement effective sales strategies across the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have strong sales leadership experience in the restoration industry and excel at mentoring early-career sales professionals.
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales representatives to build and maintain a high-performing sales team
Coach and mentor sales representatives with less than 2 years of experience through regular one-on-one meetings and field accompaniments
Design and implement comprehensive training programs focused on restoration industry knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and company procedures
Create individual development plans for each team member to support their career progression
Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes accountability and encourages innovation
Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market opportunities
Set realistic yet challenging sales targets for individual representatives and the region as a whole
Monitor progress toward sales goals and make strategic adjustments as needed
Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging restoration technologies
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective campaigns and materials for the region
Training & Knowledge Building Conduct regular training sessions on restoration services, damage assessment, insurance claims processes, and industry regulations
Organize product knowledge workshops to ensure sales team is proficient in the company's full range of restoration services
Facilitate role-playing exercises to improve representatives' objection handling and closing skills
Arrange for vendor/partner training on new equipment, techniques, or services
Implement sales certification programs appropriate for early-career representatives
Create and maintain up-to-date training materials and resources
Performance Analysis & Reporting Generate and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports
Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities from sales data to inform strategic decisions
Present sales results and forecasts during leadership meetings
Track key performance indicators including new customer acquisition, customer retention, average deal size, and close rates
Conduct win/loss analyses to identify improvement opportunities
Prepare and distribute individualized performance metrics to sales representatives
Meeting Leadership Organize and lead weekly sales team meetings to discuss goals, recognize achievements, and address challenges
Conduct monthly regional performance reviews with detailed analysis and action planning
Lead quarterly strategic planning sessions to align team efforts with company objectives
Facilitate regular training meetings focused on specific skills development
Represent the region at company-wide sales leadership meetings
Schedule and lead customer-facing meetings with key accounts when appropriate
Financial Management Review and approve expense reports from sales representatives, ensuring compliance with company policies
Forecast sales revenue accurately for financial planning purposes
Industry & Customer Relations Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively
Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service offerings and sales approach
Develop strategies to enhance the company's reputation within the restoration industry
Work with marketing to develop region-specific promotional materials and campaigns
Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with operations teams to ensure proper execution of sold services
Partner with customer service to maintain high satisfaction levels
Collaborate with technical teams on complex restoration projects
Work with HR on recruitment, retention, and employee development initiatives
Liaise with finance department on billing questions, collections, and financial reporting
Interface with senior leadership to align regional activities with company vision
Qualifications
Required 5+ years of sales experience in the restoration industry
3+ years of sales management experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities
Strong understanding of restoration services, processes, and industry regulations
Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region (50-60%)
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
IICRC certifications (Water Restoration Technician, Applied Structural Drying, etc.)
Experience managing early-career sales professionals
Knowledge of insurance claims processes and relationships with insurance carriers
Background in emergency response or disaster recovery services
Public speaking and presentation skills
Experience with sales training program development

Compensation Structure Base Salary
Bonus - Paid annually, based on EBITDA performance in the region
Requirements: Valid Driving License and pass a MVR check
