Now, we’re looking for a Regional Director of Sales (South Region) to join us on that journey.
Critical Job Functions
Direct and collaborative selling to a customer base.
Coordinating the effort of each Roadrunner Transportation Systems leadership team to develop customer specific/value-based supply chain solutions.
Facilitating cross-selling activity between the Roadrunner operating companies through training, support, and leadership.
Put our Field Sales Playbook into action—bringing discipline, focus, and consistency to how we prospect, pitch, and close.
Build trusted relationships with shippers, showing them why Roadrunner is their smartest choice for long-haul.
Work hand-in-hand with Operations, Pricing, Marketing, and Customer Experience to deliver seamless results.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred (MBA a plus).
7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
Minimum 3 years managing regional or multi-market field sales teams with a proven record of hitting and exceeding targets.
Strong financial acumen with ability to manage P&L, contribution margin, and pricing strategy.
Comfort with travel across the East Region (up to 50%).
Applicant must be based in Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, or Georgia.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical Demands: Daily outside travel to make sales calls in any weather, light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
Work Environment: The service center is a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
